We are super excited to announce our newest faculty member, Mr. Kyle Evans! "My name is Kyle Evans. I grew up in Luray, TN. My parents are David and Shelia Evans of Luray. I have my BS from MTSU in agriculture. I taught in McNairy County for eight years and moved to Custer County, Colorado to start a ranch management program with the local high school. I taught agriculture in Custer County for five years and enjoyed the mountain life and experience. We are now looking to come home and spend time with our family and community. My wife Cara and I have been married for 15 years this summer and we have one daughter Olivia who is nine years old. She will attend Westover Elementary in the fall. I have a passion for all things agriculture and I truly enjoy being a teacher. I entered the profession at a late age but found out immediately that this is my calling. I look forward to working with everyone and the LHS FFA family and community."

LADY TIGERS CLAIM CLASS 3A STATE RUNNER-UP TITLE: The Lexington Lady Tigers finished the 2023 season in a familiar place… the Class 3A State Championship Game. The Lady Tigers have had the privilege of playing in the state championship game six times in the past ten years, including three years in a row. As always, the Lady Tigers made things interesting by winning the quarterfinal game against East Hamilton on a walk-off stolen base and winning the state semi-final on a grand slam in the 7th inning against Gibbs. In true Tiger fashion, they won the first championship game against McNairy Central before the breaks just didn’t go their way in the “if-necessary” game. After a 6-10 start to the season, the Lady Tigers went on a tear down the stretch going 24-5 to finish as the TSSAA class 3A runners-up! Congratulations to the Lady Tigers, coaches, and their families!!
