Henderson County Schools Summer Camp 2026

We are excited to announce the return of the Henderson County Schools Academic Summer Camp for students entering grades K-9. This camp is designed to provide high-quality instruction and support to prepare students for the next school year.
The 16-day Summer Camp will be held at Pin Oak Elementary School.
The camp will run from Tuesday, May 26th, to Tuesday, June 16th.
Drop-off and breakfast begin at 7:30 A.M..Classes start at 8:00 A.M. and dismissal begins at 2:30 P.M.
The camp, taught by certified teachers, focuses on academic instruction in
Reading, Math, and STREAM (Science, Technology, Reading, Engineering, Arts, and Math).
Students will also receive one hour of physical activity and free breakfast and lunch daily.
Students entering grades K-9 are eligible.
Please complete and return the registration form and medication administration form to your child's teacher.
Bus transportation will be provided, picking up students at designated elementary schools: Bargerton, Beaver, Scotts Hill, South Side, South Haven, and Westover. Buses will not run individual routes.

Students in Ms. Lisa Coffman's Hospitality and Tourism I classes recently completed their OSHA 10 Culinary Arts certification. Several of these students have already attained jobs at local restaurants. We are very proud of their hard work and dedication to learning new skills.

🏀 Lexington Lady Tigers Basketball Information 🏀

Any parents and players interested in being a part of the Lexington Lady Tigers Basketball are invited to attend an Interest / Meet the Coach Meeting on Sunday, April 26th at 4:00 PM in the Lexington High School Library.

This is a very important meeting for all returning and prospective players, as well as parents, to learn about the future of Lady Tigers Basketball, meet Coach Runyon, and hear important information about the upcoming season.

📣 Free Sports Physicals for 2026–2027

Take advantage of FREE sports physicals on May 11th at LHS, courtesy of Henderson County Medical Group!

Physical packets will be distributed by coaches on or after April 15th. Please review the packet with your athlete, complete the health history, and sign all required sections.

Once the packet is complete, stop by Ms. Erin’s office to finish the pre-screening (vision, height, weight, etc.) before May 11th. Completing this step ahead of time will help everything run smoothly on physical day.

If you choose not to participate, you may use the same packet with your personal doctor. Please return a completed copy to your athlete’s coach.
