🎉 LET'S GO, MR. BUCKLEY! 🎉
Get ready to CHEER and CHIP IN! Our amazing Assistant Principal, Mr. Paden Buckley, is stepping up to the plate (literally!) to compete in the Chamber's annual Cookie Eating Contest! 🤩🍪 The entire event is dedicated to raising essential funds for two incredible causes right here in our community!
🏆 Cookie Crumble Showdown for a Cause!
All donations raised from the contest will directly benefit:
1. The West Family: A family who is near and dear to our Westover School's heart. They are currently facing significant medical expenses, and we want to help ease their burden this holiday season.
2. First United Methodist Church Food Pantry: They work tirelessly to feed many families in our hometown every single week, providing vital resources to those in need.
🌟 How You Can Help!
Every single dollar supports these two causes and helps Mr. Buckley earn points in the contest! It is truly the best time of year to give back—every donation matters!
• DONATE TODAY! Give the cookie king your donation in car line, or print and fill out the form on our school website. Look for the snowflake that says support the cookie king! www.hcschoolstn.org/o/wes

Happy Thanksgiving to our Bear Family!

Student Ambassadors will be taking new toy donations to support the local DCS Toy Drive for our community. Please bring new toys to Westover Elementary School from December 1st - December 12th. Toys will be donated on December 12th. All toys must be new. Children of all ages are in need. Every child deserves a surprise on Christmas morning to bring them joy. Please help us spread the Christmas spirit this season!

Student Ambassadors are so thankful for the generous donations to our Hygiene Drive! We have already received enough donations to help multiple families over the holiday breaks. Thank you so much for your support in this project. You can still donate to help our students and local community through December 19th.

Congratulations to Westover 7th grader, Gibbs Lane, who made 5th Chair Alto Saxophone in Red Band for All-West Honor Band this weekend. This is a great honor as around the top 20% of student musicians in West Tennessee make this honor band! We're proud of you, Gibbs!
🦃 A Heartfelt Thank You to Our Amazing Cafeteria Team! 🍽️
We want to extend our sincerest and most heartfelt THANK YOU for the absolutely beautiful and delicious Thanksgiving lunch you prepared and served for our students and their families.
The effort, care, and attention to detail that went into every dish was truly evident. It was so much more than just a meal; it was a warm, welcoming, and deeply cherished experience that created a wonderful atmosphere of togetherness and gratitude for everyone who attended.
We know how much hard work goes on behind the scenes to pull off an event of this size, and your dedication to providing such a high-quality, festive feast did not go unnoticed. You didn't just nourish bodies; you nourished our community spirit.
Thank you for making this Thanksgiving tradition so memorable and special. We are incredibly fortunate to have such a committed and talented team in our kitchen.
