On Friday, Mrs. Campbell's 7th grade Math Class had fun learning about rational number operations and classifying shapes. They used their group members for help and productively struggled through the assignment to find a solution.
Our HCN XC team had a great night last night with the varsity boys placing 4th overall and four boys brought home medals. Westover represented well with 2 medals-- Knox Scott with 12th place in the varsity race and Carter Maness with 10th place in the JV race. Great job, boys! We are so proud of you. 🐻

What a wonderful night of reading, family, football, and FUN! 💙💛
Our Literacy Under the Lights event brought Westover families together on the LHS football field for an evening filled with fun literacy activities and a chance to spend time with **LHS football players and coaches**. We loved seeing our students reading, learning, laughing, and making memories with their families and friends!
A huge THANK YOU to everyone who worked behind the scenes to plan, prepare, set up, lead activities, and make this special night possible. Events like this take a lot of helping hands, and we are so grateful for each person who gave their time and energy.
We also want to extend a special thank you to LHS for welcoming us and allowing us to use their beautiful football facility. We appreciate the continued partnership between our schools!
And we have to brag just a little on some of our own! 🐻➡️🏈 Several former Westover students who now play football for LHS graciously gave their time to participate in the event, interact with our students, and help make the night extra special. There is something pretty amazing about watching former Westover Bears come back and pour into the students following in their footsteps. We are incredibly proud of the young men they have become!
