More Book Blast fun! 💙🐻💛📚
The kids were excited to get their free books yesterday from the book blast! The WHOLE class received at least one free book, and a few received more than 1 free book based on how many donations they collected as well. Thank you SO much to everyone that donated. ❤️
Yesterday we distributed the books our students earned through our Book Blast! They were so excited to receive excellent books to help build their home libraries. Thank you to our bear family who makes this happen!

The Henderson County Board of Education secured a matching grant for Westover Elementary to receive a new AED through the FRIENDS OF HEART organization. Thank you to Gennifer Leslie, Henderson Co. Nursing Supervisor, and to Tracey McKnight, with Friends of Heart. ❤️

Our Student Council worked hard last week to bring some TCAP encouragement to our students! We've got this Bear fam! 💙🐻💛
TCAP tests start on Monday for 2nd-8th grade, and WEstover is ready! Eat a healthy breakfast every day next week (remember we have free breakfast every day here at school). Be here and be on time. Go to bed early and wake up refreshed. We have worked hard all year and it is our time to shine!
