The LHS Computer Science class has been diving deep into the world of technology, coding, and even gardening. Here's a glimpse of what we've been up to: Simple Paper Circuits: With LED's, copper wire, a 3V battery, and a creative design, we've created dazzling paper circuit projects that light up our imaginations. 🖥️ Computers in Our Society - A Historical Perspective: We've explored the evolution of computers from early days to the modern age, understanding their profound impact on our society. It's fascinating to see how far we've come! 🌲 Minecraft Hour of Code: Block Coding Adventures: We've embarked on a journey through Minecraft, not just for fun, but to learn the creative and logical world of block coding. 🐍 Basic Python Coding - Our Programming Adventure: We have explored some of the basics of this versatile language. 🌿 Hydroponics: Our class is on the verge of reaping the rewards of our Hydroponics and Garden Tower journey! From planting seeds to tending to our thriving garden, our green thumbs have worked wonders and our plants are thriving in a soil-less environment. With an understanding of sustainable gardening, we’re now poised for a bountiful harvest. Stay tuned for the delicious updates! #LHS Computer Science Class #Hydroponics Success #Harvest Time #SpatialGrow #STEM Education

The Renaissance Team celebrated our students who made Honors Roll or Principal’s List for the 1st nine weeks with a little fall fun today. We painted pumpkins, watched The Nightmare Before Christmas, made mummies, face painted, played basketball, and gave out free popcorn and coke. Thanks to Anderson’s Farm Market for donating the pumpkins, Coke for donating the drinks, and Mrs. Jaivel for face painting for us. As always thanks to our Renaissance students for working so hard to host this for their peers.

This group is pretty incredible. This morning the AFJROTC marched in remembrance of those captured and killed during The Bataan Death March. They made 14 laps around the walking path. Prior to this, they helped set up the Field of Flags in support of The American Legion. Capt Sullivan and Sr Park are a true blessing to LHS. 🇺🇸
