Our 2nd-8th grade students took the CASE benchmark the week before Fall Break. We take it three times per year to measure progress toward TCAP goals. This allows for us to adjust teaching strategies or meet with parents/students concerning issues limiting success. The grade will be part of the 9 week grade on the report cards next week. there is an individual student report that the teachers will send home for you to see. Please monitor ROOMS for your child's class so you know when to expect the report. Our next benchmark is in December. It is important that all students that were not proficient adjust their efforts toward success,
Some groups sell sweet treats to make money. If you do not want you student to purchase sweet treats, please contact your homeroom teacher through rooms to let them know. We provide healthy snacks in our snack shacks that will still be available.

5th grade used their skills of adding and subtracting decimals to attend the decimal store to buy some goodies. They earned their "money" through having their homework completed, having good character, and being attentive in class. They learned the value of a dollar by doing their job, which is being a learning student. 💰👩🏼🏫🦁
