As the school year winds down and calendars fill up, one thing stayed strong at Westover… our readers! 💪📖
We are so proud to celebrate our Quarter 4 Top Readers for their dedication to excellence and love of reading during the busiest time of the year. When it would’ve been easy to slow down, these students kept turning pages, growing their minds, and showing what it means to be committed to excellence. 🌟
Your hard work doesn’t go unnoticed—you are setting the standard and leading the way for others! Keep reading, keep dreaming, and keep being UN-BEAR-ABLE readers! 🐻❤️
👏 Help us congratulate these amazing students in the comments!

Today we’re celebrating the incredible people who keep our school rolling every single day—our AMAZING bus drivers! 🚌💛
A huge THANK YOU to Ricky Scott, Calvin Western, Michelle Douglas, April Hardin, Ricky Brantley, William Britt, Jessica Hatchett, Tammie Keith and aide Betsy Meadows, and Martha Pickett and aide Linda Britt.
These drivers are the first smiling faces many of our students see in the morning and the last caring adults they see in the afternoon. They go above and beyond to make sure our students arrive safely, feel welcomed, and start and end their day on a positive note.
Rain or shine, early mornings and long afternoons—they show up with patience, kindness, and dedication that does not go unnoticed. Our school simply wouldn’t run without them!
If you see one of our drivers today, be sure to give them a wave, a smile, or a big THANK YOU! 💙

Our Second Graders spent Earth Day getting their hands dirty for a very special cause! They planted our cut-flower garden. When we return to school in the fall, these beautiful blooms will be harvested to create custom bouquets for our beginning of the year events and other special occasions. A huge thank you to our little gardeners for making our school a more beautiful place, one seed at a time. We can’t wait to see these flowers in full bloom this autumn!

Our 3rd graders have been working HARD this week on their TCAP tests, and we couldn’t be more proud! From powering through tough questions to staying focused and giving their very best, they’ve truly shown what it means to be Super Students! 💪✨
Their hallway may look like a Super Mario world, but the real stars are the ones inside it every day—jumping over obstacles, collecting knowledge, and leveling up with confidence! ⭐
Keep going, 3rd grade…you’ve got this! Westover is cheering you on all the way to the finish line! 🏁🎉

Today we celebrate the hardworking ladies who keep our school running—our incredible office staff! 💙
They are the first smile some students see in the morning, the calm voice on the other end of the phone, and the welcoming presence our families rely on every single day. They set the tone for our school and make every interaction meaningful.
From juggling a million tasks at once to always making time to help, they keep everything running smoothly behind the scenes—and often with a smile. Their kindness, patience, and dedication do not go unnoticed.
Thank you for being the face of our school and for making such a lasting impact on everyone who walks through our doors. You are truly special, and we are so grateful for each of you! 💫
