Susan McKee’s 8th grade English Language Arts classes brought Edgar Allan Poe’s “The Tell-Tale Heart” to life today! Students read the eerie classic under black lights, creating an atmospheric glow that matched the story’s suspenseful tone. Using yellow highlighters, students marked key vocabulary words—watching them shine under the lights as they explored Poe’s haunting language and themes.

Pink Out Night at Westover
This Monday, October 27th, join us for our annual Pink Out Night as we come together to honor and celebrate all the brave women who have fought the battle against breast cancer. This special evening will be filled with moments of love, remembrance, and community support.
We will recognize and present flowers to these incredible women who have shown courage and strength through their journeys. Several fundraisers will take place throughout the night to help raise awareness and support the fight against breast cancer.
This year, we will also pay special tribute to Mrs. Donna Jean Woods Garner, a beloved Beaver School employee who recently passed away. Her kindness, dedication, and spirit touched the lives of so many, and we are proud to honor her memory.
We invite everyone to wear pink, show their support, and help us make this night one to remember as we stand together for hope, strength, and love. 💗
