Parents & Students – Here's a Head Start for the New School Year! The ParentVUE and StudentVUE apps have been updated in the App Store! If you use these apps to view your student's information, you'll need to: ✅ Delete the old ParentVUE/StudentVUE app ✅ Download the NEW ParentVUE or StudentVUE app from the App Store 😊Good news: Parents and students will continue to use their existing usernames and passwords to log in. No new account is needed! These apps are where you'll be able to access: 📚 Student schedules 📝 Attendance 🎓 Grades ⚠️ Please Note: Student schedules have NOT been released yet, and teachers have not been assigned. We simply wanted to give parents and students a heads up so you'll be ready when schedules become available! ❗This is NOT the Rooms app. Rooms is the communication platform used by Henderson County Schools for school and classroom communication. It is accessed through the Henderson County Schools app and is separate from ParentVUE and StudentVUE. Getting the new app now means you'll be ready as soon as schedules are released! ⚠️Regarding those who do not recall their user names or passwords: Please contact your child's school. Girls' basketball open gym is canceled for today, July 15.

If your student still needs vaccinations, on Tuesday, July 28th from 3-6 PM is a vaccine event at the Henderson County Health Department. Please read the flyer below for more details.

💉 Free Vaccine Clinic The Henderson County Health Department will be providing a free vaccine clinic for our students. This is a great opportunity to make sure your child is up to date on immunizations before the new school year. See the graphic below for details and important information.

The Westover Lady Bears wrapped up their summer camp at Gibson County High School with a split on the final day. They dropped a hard-fought, close game to South Gibson but bounced back with a decisive win over Union City in the nightcap. That concludes the Lady Bears’ summer schedule as they head into the dead period. The team has worked hard all summer, and we look forward to watching them continue to grow and compete this fall. Go Lady Bears! 💙💛🏀

🏀 Westover Elementary is excited to announce the hiring of Coach Rachel Savage as the new Girls Basketball Coach! 🐻💙💛 Coach Savage brings a strong background in both playing and coaching, along with a passion for developing young athletes on and off the court. A graduate of Lexington High School, she continued her basketball career at Jackson State Community College before spending three years competing in Wolfville, Nova Scotia, Canada. The experiences and relationships built through athletics helped shape her commitment to mentorship, servant leadership, and investing in the next generation. For the past eight years, Coach Savage has worked with student-athletes with an emphasis on fundamental skill development, confidence-building, mental toughness, and character growth. She believes athletics provide an opportunity to teach discipline, teamwork, accountability, perseverance, and a genuine love for the game. Coach Savage and her fiancée are proud parents of four children—three boys and one girl—and family remains at the center of everything they do. As she begins this new chapter with Westover, Coach Savage looks forward to serving the students, athletes, families, and community while building a program that challenges young people to grow, believe in themselves, and succeed both on and off the court.
